DESCRIPTION:HISTORIC AND BELOVED FESTIVAL IN ARQUÀ PETRARCA\n Giuggiola is the typical fruit of Arquà Petrarca. For more than 40 years, on the first two Sundays of October, this event has been attracting hundreds of visitors.\nIn the most authentic medieval atmosphere, flag-wavers, drummers, costumed figures and the traditional market will enliven the streets of the Borgo, while expert bakers will prepare traditional “medieval sandwiches” using ancient wood-burning ovens.\nThere will be no shortage of local wines! \nPRO LOCO STAND\nMedieval sandwiches with Sopressa or Porchetta and lots of Good Wine from the Euganean Hills\nBENEFIT FISHING\nof the Parish of Arquà Petrarca\nPROGRAM:  \nSUNDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2025\n9 a.m.\nOpening Pro Loco and exhibitors’ booths, from P.zza Petrarca to P.zza S. Marco.\n10 a.m.\nMedieval atmosphere in the streets of the Borgo, with costumed figures (until 1 p.m.).\nProcession along the streets of the Old Town, accompanied by the Town Band.\n10:30 a.m.\nVanessa’s birds of prey display in the churchyard of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Petrarch Square.\n3:00 p.m.\nPerformance by the Flag-wavers of the Walled City of Montagnana in P.zza Petrarca and P.zza San Marco.\nCity Band performance through the streets of the Borgo.\n7 pm\nClosing of the Pro Loco booth and exhibitors.\n \nSUNDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2025\n09.00 a.m.\nOpening Pro Loco and exhibitors’ booths from P.zza Petrarca and to P.zza S.
