DESCRIPTION:HISTORIC AND BELOVED FESTIVAL IN ARQUÀ PETRARCA\nThe jujube is the traditional fruit of Arquà Petrarca. For over 40 years, on the first two Sundays in October, this event has drawn hundreds of visitors.\nIn a truly authentic medieval atmosphere, flag-wavers, drummers, costumed performers, and the traditional market will bring the streets of the village to life, while expert bakers will prepare traditional “medieval bread rolls” using old-fashioned wood-fired ovens.\nAnd of course, there will be plenty of local wines! \n\nSUNDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2026\n9:00 a.m. Opening of the Pro Loco booths and exhibitors’ stands, from Piazza Petrarca to Piazza S. Marco.\n10:00 a.m. Medieval atmosphere in the streets of the old town, with costumed reenactors (until 1:00 p.m.). Procession through the streets of the Historic Center, accompanied by the Town Band.\n10:30 a.m. Exhibition of Vanessa’s birds of prey on the churchyard of the Church of S. Maria Assunta in Piazza Petrarca.\n3:00 p.m. Performance by the Town Band through the streets of the old town. Performance by the A.S.D. Ginnastica Dinamica Militare on the churchyard of the Church of S. Maria Assunta in Piazza Petrarca.\n3:30 p.m. Performance by the flag-wavers of the Walled City of Montagnana in Piazza Petrarca and Piazza San Marco.\n7:00 p.m. Closing of the Pro Loco booth and exhibitor stands.  \nSUNDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2026\n9:00 a.m. The Pro Loco booth and exhibitor booths open from Piazza Petrarca to Piazza S. Marco.\n10:00 a.m. A medieval atmosphere in the streets of the village with costumed reenactors (until 1:00 p.m.).\n10:30 a.m. Vanessa’s birds of prey exhibition on the church grounds of the Church of S. Maria Assunta in Piazza Petrarca.\n3:00 p.m. Performance by the A.S.D. Ginnastica Dinamica Militare on the churchyard of the Church of Santa Maria Assunta in Piazza Petrarca.\n3:30 p.m. Performance by the Monticelli chivalric district, which will end at approximately 6:00 p.m.\n6:30 p.m. On the churchyard of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Piazza Petrarca, a “fiery” performance by drummers and flag-wavers.\n7:00 p.m. The Pro Loco booth and exhibitor booths close.\nPRO LOCO BOOTH: Medieval Sandwiches with Soppressa or Porchetta and plenty of delicious wine from the Euganean Hills\nCHARITY RAFFLE hosted by the Parish of Arquà Petrarca\n
