CASEUS VENETI 2026 – Fine Cheeses, 22nd Edition

Once again this year, the 22nd edition of Caseus will take place at the prestigious Villa Contarini in Piazzola sul Brenta (PD), one of the most majestic Venetian villas—the perfect blend of art and food and wine culture.

The event will bring together large cheese makers and small alpine dairy producers, continuing a tradition that has been going strong for 22 years and has seen exponential growth in both participation and interest. In 2025, in fact, visitor numbers exceeded 100,000, and over 500 cheeses were entered in the competition. The 2026 edition will also maintain the international spirit established three years ago, hosting and showcasing three fascinating themes: Caseus Veneti, Caseus Italie, and Caseus Mundi.

These will be two important days, full of opportunities to appreciate the authentic flavor of cheeses, featuring guided tastings, food and wine pairings, meetings with cheesemakers, masterclasses, and opportunities for learning and discussion. Our event calendar promises to be even more packed than last year’s, with over 90 events that were already sold out before the festival even opened. In addition, this year, Caseus is hosting the 13th edition of the Veneto PDO Festival, offering an even greater appreciation of the excellence of the region’s dairy products.
