Bike and Boat from Monselice to Battaglia Terme
A half-day excursion to plunge into the Nature of the Euganean Hills with alternative means of transport
We do like this offer to discover the territory in an alternative way: the first part of the route, in fact, from Monselice to Battaglia Terme, will let you admire the landscape cycling on two wheels, while the return is by boat!
But let’s proceed from the beginning: from Monselice, starting point, a tour guide will accompany you to the wonderful Arquà Petrarca hamlet, where you will enjoy a tasting of jujube products; you’ll see the Laghetto della Costa (Costa Lake), which is important as here the thermal clay is extracted to let it turn into mature mud. Along the route, you will admire the Castello di Lispida (Lispida Castle), to reach finally Battaglia Terme.
Here you will leave bikes and you will sail with Delta Tour on Battaglia and Bisato Canals, with a view on the Euganean Hills until Monselice.
Just imagine that even Francesco Petrarca sailed the same stretch at the end of XIV century, to reach his house at Arquà Petrarca!
