Carnival in Padua

Sunday 11 February at 2.30 p.m. ‘Carnevale Padova’ returns to Prato della Valle with the Grand Parade of Carnival Floats.

A tasty Carnival!

On Sunday 11 February from 10.30 a.m. the great celebration of the Carnival of Padua begins with the opening in Prato della Valle of a dozen food trucks ready to serve snacks and lunches for the many expected visitors.

While waiting for the big parade of the Allegorical Floats at 2.30 pm, you can enjoy:

Typical Veneto cuisine with salt cod, Veneto-style olives, cream and ‘storti’;

Mexican cuisine with burritos, tacos and nachos;

Spanish cuisine with tapas and paella. Street food with sandwiches, piadinas and porchetta.

And then pancakes, sweets, candy floss, candies and everything you need to make your carnival special!
