A Christmas full of lights, music, shows and events spread throughout the city.
Padua is preparing to experience the magic of Christmas with an extraordinary program of events and initiatives that will enliven the city for more than a month, including illuminations, concerts, markets, shows and new attractions.
Excitement and lights in the city
Padua will be tinged with lights and colors with illuminations from Nov. 22 and the lighting of theChristmas tree on Nov. 29.
Christmas Markets
As per tradition, the city streets welcome Christmas markets from Nov. 28 to Jan. 6, and Eremitani Square hosts Santa Claus and his village from Nov. 28 to Jan. 6.
Events
Numerous events are planned throughout the city. Initiatives and entertainment for little girls and boys, with the ice rink from Nov. 28 to Jan. 25, in Prato Della Valle.
Music and Art
It’s not Christmas without music! Numerous musical events and concerts are scheduled to brighten up and make Christmas in Padua 2025 even more unforgettable. A number of city museums are also open throughout the holiday season with free admission.
Family Christmas, at San Gaetano
The Padua Cultural Center hosts Christmas concerts and shows, and a free space for children’s entertainment.
Major Events
Two major events are planned to enrich the Christmas in Padua 2025 program: the New Year’s Eve party and the Epiphany party on January 6.
