Este in Fiore returns for the twenty-third edition among the wonderful setting of the Carrarese Castle and the streets of the historic center, and the City of Este looks forward to welcoming you during this annual appointment with nature, beauty, and attention to the environment.

The theme chosen for this year’s review is “Beatrice’s Gardens.”

“The Gardens of Beatrice” is a tribute to Beatrice I d’Este on the eighth centenary of her death. Her figure, suspended between spirituality and love for the land, lives again today in the legacy of the medieval garden: a space of industriousness and contemplation in perfect harmony with a landscape as gentle and luminous as the Euganean Hills.

Beatrice’s Gardens will be a journey of colors, scents and suggestions, but also of reflections and encounters. Alongside quality f thematic proposals, nurserymen and green artisans, the cultural program will offer in-depth moments dedicated to the symbolic and spiritual value of the garden in history, the ancient link between care of the earth and inner care, and the monastic tradition that has contributed so much to the spread of botanical knowledge and cultivation practices
