Sweet as honey
A day entirely dedicated to honey, a natural product of bees. The event is organized by Veneto a Tavola and the Associazione Apicoltori Patavini A.P.A. PAD.,
The program includes the large exhibition Honeys of Italy with more than 100 varieties of honeys from every region and the exhibition The Life of the Bee.
Throughout the day there will be workshops for children and free guided tastings.
Also on hand will be expert beekeepers from the A.P.A. Pad. who will guide you in the discovery of bees and their value, bringing some “tools of the trade,” the educational beehive and the product of their remarkable work, honey. The event aims to raise awareness and appreciation of the properties of honey for our daily diet, and the fundamental importance of bees in pollinating plants, including in our territory, and maintaining environmental biodiversity.
