31st PALIO DELLO SPARVIERO
In the heart of the lands crossed by the Bacchiglione River, between Veggiano, Saccolongo and Cervarese, we recount the Middle Ages as you’ve never experienced them: amid history, legends and extraordinary characters.
From the Scrovegni to the Da Carrara, from Pietro d’Abano to Galileo Galilei, from Giotto to Petrarca, you’ll meet faces that made our area great-and maybe even some jesters or enchanting ladies.
On the occasion of the XXXI Sparrowhawk Palio, the Castle of San Martino della Vaneza will come alive again: including encampments, markets, performances and medieval magic.
