Giostra della Rocca – 41st Edition, 2026

The Giostra della Rocca is Monselice’s most distinctive event: a historical reenactment that involves 3,000 volunteers participating in athletic competitions, but above all featuring a medieval market and parade.

The Giostra della Rocca in Monselice features nine districts: Ca’ Oddo, Carmine, San Bortolo, San Cosma, La Torre, San Giacomo, Monticelli, Marendole, and San Martino.

Drums in the distance, the clatter of hooves on stone, and that rush of adrenaline that only a challenge can provide: THE MIDDLE AGES RETURN TO MONSELICE!

• September 11 | Medieval Dinner: Banquets, traditional flavors, and the start of the magic. (Seats are going fast—don’t miss out!)
• September 12 | Archery Competition & Relay Race: Pinpoint accuracy and nail-biting suspense. Who will dominate the first day?
• September 13 | Medieval Market & Millstone Competition: Traditional crafts and a test of brute strength that will leave you breathless.
• September 14 | Living Chess: The Mind Meets Theater. One wrong move, and all is lost.
• September 17 | Drum Battle: The rhythm that makes the earth shake. The village trembles, and the challenge begins.
• September 20 | Historical Parade & Quintana Tournament: The grand finale. Splendor, nobility, and the final, decisive battle for the glory of the Rocca!
