The jujube is the traditional fruit of Arquà Petrarca. For over 40 years, on the first two Sundays of October, this event has drawn hundreds of visitors. In a truly authentic medieval atmosphere, flag-wavers, drummers, costumed performers, and the traditional market will bring the village streets to life, while expert bakers will prepare traditional “medieval rolls” using old wood-fired ovens.
